#31 Sit
I missed what would have been such a great shot here. There was a big old black crow sitting on the back of this chair when I drove by. By the time I got turned around, he was long gone - not about to be caught lazing.

#30 Love Visable
Same flower, different bees. I don't generally use two similar shots in a row, but these are some of my very favourite. Besides the fact that I just plain love bees, I find the colours so appealing.

#24 Proper Task
This is a photo creation I did from an old factory in Stratford. The worn all and staircases; the spirit of the place. It all speaks of Art to me.

#23 Dip Into Your Soul
Because I am playing with my friends at a creativity retreat this week, the theme will be ART. I art in Heaven, getting to spend all day and night doing whatever I chose. And having meals made and no dishes to do.

#16 Mark Our Path
To celebrate what I am doing all this week, the theme will be FRIENDSHIP. I have the joy and delight of spending the entire week surrounded by my 'Sistas in Creativity'. You can bet that path will have lots of marks left on it this week.

#15 Better Than Speech
There seems to be a lot more silence in this season than any other. The birds are here; dozens at our feeder, but they don't make a lot of noise. Or more likely, it's that I don't hear them with the windows closed.

#14 Fence
It seems that in quotes, the word WISDOM is often connected with silence. It is planted, is nurtured and grows within the quietness of nature and our souls.

#13 What Can I Say?
Peeking through the trees, you can see the crystals falling. I was surrounded by silence when took this photo this past Sunday. What can I say.

#12 Nature Moves
I took this photo on Sunday. It was an exceedingly beautiful morning where it seemed that a fairy had dropped down and turned the world into a purely magical place. It had as much to do with the sound of soft silence as it did the visual impact.

#11 Powerful
Silence seems to be as often equated with 'power' as it does 'peace'. I tend first to think of peacefulness, serenity, solitude. I do see though, how it is powerful in so many ways.

#10 Loudest Voice
The remnants of this wonderful old stone house is right at the end of our road. People used to go there and have their family photos taken until the owners put up the 'No Trespassing' sign. I just trespassed with my eyeballs and a zoom lens.

#9 Understand
The theme of this coming week is SILENCE. You'd think think that's close to LISTEN, but it isn't necessarily. That's sometimes the point of silence - to NOT listen to anything.

#8 Fluff in His Ear
I loved our old cat, Simon. She was with me every step I made outside. Which meant she was fair game to my photographic whims.

#4 Privilege
I expect that if we did look upon listening as a privilege, we'd do more of it. And then indeed, we would be wiser. And eventually we'd have so much knowledge, we'd get to speak.

#3 Do Not Say
It seems strange to put up an autumn picture this time of year. It's a warm and colourful memory on this bleak day. I love autumn, but then again, I love winter too.

#1 New Year
Chapter TWO
The year has come to an end. It was quite a challenge to keep up with my mission here consistently, but it was a good exercise. I've finally been able to do something with the countless landscape shots that I take and no one else is remotely interested in, and it gives me an excuse to take more. I've also finally been able to make use of the multitude of quotes that I have collected for four decades. As well, it makes me practice my photo editing and sharpen my artistic eye.
I have exercised the right side of my brain in the creative work - deciding the font style, size and placement. I have also put my left brain through the paces. I soon learned that I needed a more efficient system when I would find myself spending hours searching through lists and lists of quotes, looking for that one that I thought would suit the photo.
The year is over, but the personal challenge remains. I carry on.
I'm not sure about the three line commentary. Because of time constraints lately, I have had to let that go. I had intentions of going back and filling them in. I would love to have some feedback about that ... to add the commentary or not. What do you think?
