A Story

The Secret
Thank goodness for beginnings. Our life would be sad and sorrowful indeed if it was made up of mostly endings. Open any door and surely, behind it there will be another beginning in some way, shape or form.

Aspires

Endurance
The cross on this steeple is the epitome of endurance to me. It as been standing crooked on an abandoned church by the sea, for many, many years. The winds and weather have taken a toll, but it still hangs on.

Moving
This is my old house where I took the photo of the mattress springs in front of the window. Moments later I captured this shot. It's not so lonely with movement still around it.

At Anchor
I loved the way the entire background of this photo just disappeared and made the red bouys on the boat pop out. It caught the corner of my eye as I was driving to Bonavista. I issued the common cry on our Newfoundland adventure: "Whoa! Photo Opp!!!"

Simplify
That seems to be the cry of the latter part of our lives. The first part tends to be rushing and bustling around, gathering and accumulating. The next part is when we come to realize that simplification is quite often the answer.
