The faces in this picture, in fact, are a link to my past. Searching my family tree last year and being taken back eleven generations from my grandchildren, was remarkable. A long and winding road.

Why would I choose a sheep picture for this? Well ... just got to thinking about a comment that one of my kids made back in the days of our brief foray into sheep farming. "I think Noah loaded a brother & sister on the Ark." was the comment when it was evident how dense they were at times.

Today is an official holiday now ... Family Day. A good time indeed to pause and say Thank You for this house filled with chaos and happy noise. Family and/or Friends - a house full of people I love is a joy.
