It truly amazes me how fragile little flowers grow in the rock. A gentle little splash of colour in the dullness of the gray; a soft place to cradle and hang on to a droplet of life's breath. Much like an unexpected kindness in this world.
That could be a whole new term - not just 'Kindred Spirits' but 'Kindled Spirits'. Do you notice that the root of both is 'KIND', in fact the root of most good things indeed is Kindness. With gratitude to all those who kindle my flame.
A beautiful proverb. It's a wonderful way to envision friendship, with gentleness and the 'breath of kindness'. A sacredness befitting of such treasure.
