#8 WINGS

This one is in honour of our monthly WINGS meeting tonight.  It is exactly what our group is about. Motivating, inspiring and helping each other find our wings and soar!

Like An Eagle

This is the same big old eagle as in the four previous photos - I've sure had fun playing with him. The background are all created from other photos that I have taken. Digital media ... such huge fun.

Just Soar

Who wants to creep along the ground, really? All negative connotations associated with that - snakes, rats, bugs ... creepy.  But SOAR ... now there is a word that speaks ofs freedom and grace and adventure.

Just Watch

Tonight was the inaugural meeting of WINGS. It was proof positive that women coming together in a positve, supportive, enthusiastic atmosphere, do indeed SOAR.  We can, and we do SOAR ... just watch!!

Spread Your WIngs

I've always been drawn to the gracefulness of  birds in flight. It has come in handy with building my WINGS & SOAR theme. This one is a Newfoundland bald eagle who lives very close to this harbour.

Your Spirit Soar

When I'm taking a photograph of a building, I consider it a major bonus if I can capture a bird in just the right spot. It takes patience and good luck as it's hard to talk them into a 'do over' or have them shift just a little bit to the left. Got this guy in Ireland in the spring, in the nick of time.

Higher We Soar

Not everyone wants to fly; some are quite content to stay safely on the ground. That's fine too, but they can still celebrate those who want to soar. Some of us crave the freedom and adventure.

SOAR



In honour and celebration of the birth of W.I.N.G.S., this week will be dedicated to Soaring. WINGS stands for 'Women in Networking Groups Soar' - the brainchild of my eldest child. The inaugural meeting takes place Thursday with a full house.
